Job Description

You will work as a mechanical design, test and system integration engineer in our Hardware development department in Böblingen/Germany as part of a dedicated team to develop and enhance our V93000 semiconductor test system.

In your new job, you will develop complex mechanical parts and solutions to enhance the test system or test-cells. You will create concepts, implement solutions in 3D CAD format, procure, assemble and test prototypes, and take design responsibility all the way to a released product. You will need to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners. Reliability testing and validation of new developments will be required to achieve required quality levels.

Requirements

• University degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Professional experience in using 3D CAD tools (preferably with PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling) and PLM Systems (e.g. Windchill)
• Experience with mechanical measurement and failure analyses tasks, tolerance analyses, environmental testing, FMEA
• Experience in project planning and execution
• Good team and communication skills, cross-functional, cross cultural and across hierarchal levels
• Good Team player with a practical attitude
• Very good English and German language skills
