(Sr.) Truck Product Planning Engineer (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for
- Supporting product planning and product strategy development processes
- Market screening and research for European Commercial Vehicles (CV), technologies, innovations, trends and forecast
- Investigation of electric commercial vehicle development status in Europe (BEV and FCEV)
- Benchmarking and total vehicle evaluation for competitor vehicles (vans, trucks and buses). Organization and assignment of testing activities
- Analysis of technical concept, specifications and costs of competitor vehicles and major CV suppliers
- Definition and description of truck and bus market segments and use cases. Derivation of vehicle specifications
- Reporting about new vehicle launches and new technology updates from motor shows and conferences in Europe
- Lead of prototyping projects for electric and fuel cell commercial vehicles including assignment, tracking of external service companies and customer testing
Who we are looking for
- Engineering degree or similar
- Several years of working experience
- Good knowledge of European CV market and truck & bus technology, or even logistics or trucking companies
- Experience with project management
- Truck driver license is an advantage
- Knowledge of European automotive supplier landscape is an advantage
- Know-how of electric vehicles is an advantage
- Good command of English and German language
- Ability to structure and summarize complex topics
- Good communication and networking skills
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel in Europe and to work in an international environment
