Responsibilities
- PLC and NC programming of machine tools using Siemens STEP7/TIA portal, visualization with WinCC and G-code programming for implementing machine sequences.
- Systematic troubleshooting and finding solutions
- Further development of machine control technology to expand functionality
- Occasional international travel as third-level support and documentation of commissioning and service activities.
- Coordination of development partners for the planning and construction of control cabinets as well as support in the design of components.
- Close cooperation in the PLC development team and the entire development department as well as with adjacent areas (e.g. service)
Profile
- Degree in electrical engineering or automation technology or vocational training as an electronics technician/electrician or comparable technical training, preferably with sound knowledge of machine tool construction
- Good programming skills in accordance with IEC 61131, experience with Siemens STEP7 and TIA Portal an advantage
- Experience with CNC controls & drive technology from Siemens
- Experience with Beckhoff controllers advantageous
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as a high level of quality and deadline awareness
