R&D Testing & Lab Engineer (f/m/d)

In your role as a R&D Testing & Lab Engineer (f/m/d) for the high-performance test field in Ratingen, you will be responsible, among other things, for setting up and carrying out various internal and external tests and constantly developing our product portfolio and our test facilities. You will also enjoy working in an international environment.

Your responsibilities

• Setting up and carrying out development and type tests in accordance with the relevant standard
• Further development of the product portfolio as well as test equipment and methods
• Carrying out various tests under PEHLA observation
• Close cooperation with the internal development department as well as internal and external customers in external laboratories and on site at the customer's premises
• Preparation of complete test documentation as well as type test and development reports
• Compliance with cost and time specifications for the tests to be carried out
• Supervision of student assistants, bachelor's and master's theses
• Collaboration in various projects, management of own projects if necessary

Your background

• Successfully completed technical master's degree - mandatory in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on energy technology or automation technology
• Company training in the field of electrical engineering is an advantage
• Ideally initial practical experience and knowledge in the field of high-voltage technology
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• High customer orientation, initiative, determination, self-confident appearance and team and communication skills
